How do I create an account?
Downloading the App and going through the onboarding process saves an account locally on your phone.
How does the AI meal scanning work?
Simply point your camera at your meal and take a photo. Our AI analyzes the image to identify foods and estimate portion sizes, then calculates approximate macros (protein, carbs, fats) and calories. You can review and adjust the estimates after logging.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel: Open Settings on your iPhone → Tap your name → Subscriptions → Select Protocol → Tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account and data?
Simply deleting the app on your phone destroys all data except subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store.
Is my health data secure?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Your health and fitness data is encrypted and stored securely. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.
What devices are supported?
Protocol is available for iPhone running iOS 16.0 or later. The app is optimized for all iPhone models from iPhone X onwards. Apple Watch integration is available for tracking workouts and activity data.
How do I restore my purchases?
If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase, go to Protocol's subscription page showcasing all tiers, and scroll down to tap the restore button. If you continue to have issues, contact us at support@protocolapp.ai.
